You have 30 people staring at you, the 7 camra men, the director, 4 producers, the guy who holds the wires, etc.

They say its actually the most uncofertable thing ever. Put yourself in that postion. gezz

It depends. By the time they've performed, they've probably practiced so many times it feels natural - but the hard part may actually be maintaining the character's excitement. The good thing about performing is that you're fueled off of the excitement of the audience. If it's an actor's character to be excited during the scene -- they should be excited during the scene.

Not really....you're surrounded by tons of crew people and you're trying to make the scene look good. There's no time to get turned on.

When you have a dozen eyes watching you so closely, absolutely not. It is extremely awkward and you are too busy focusing on the part and not the actual act it's self.
