Why would anyone want to murder him? He was a good bloke! No, I don't subscribe to a conspiracy theory here, I think it was just death from natural causes.
Some articles describe vomit on the walls of his room, and this is a common, if lesser-known, symptom of a heart attack.

I am dead sure it cant be a heart attack ... pakistan side hasnt been performing like australians that bob woolmer wud get an heart attack looking at their poor performance ... moreover ... there is a lot more than we can see which is cooking in PCB, lotsa controversy fuming up amongst the board and the players ... and y i one overlooking the match fixing mafia ... n y does one have to assume that the heart attack can b linked with the game of cricket ... cant it be something other than the game that cud have been bothering him day in and day out?

Murder. Pakistan team has a shakey past about game fixing! Its so obvious they threw the game against Ireland. Woolmer may or may not have been involoved in this.
