Mine has clams, tons of tube worms, sponges, and coral polyps. I like the polyps, some of them glow at night.

There are so many things that will and do grow on the rock. I have a large clam stuck to mine with corals.

the coolest thing I ever had from (not growing on) were cuddle fish. A few little ones.

Things that grow on the rocks, featherdusters are cool, I would still have to say some of the pollups and corals that form. Watching them grow from a plain rock is really neat.

Feather dusters are nice - I have three with bright orange-red fans that are my favorites, but they're small. And lots of little white ones.

I've also gotten a tiger pistol shrimp on a piece - he's pretty neat, and likes to "pop" his claw at me when I do water changes.

I've had a couple of tunicates, too. They look a lot like a sponge, but will open and close if disturbed. And if they're near the top of the water and you bother them, they squirt water at you.

Truth is, other than a bit of nuisance bubble algae and occassional Aiptaisia, there's not much on live rock I don't like!

Then you could grow featherdusters or a sponge as an addition to your filtration system. Can you do that though I'm not very sure.
