i think it vers more toward girls cuz i really dont see many guys out there caring for electronic pets...

Tamagotchi is for boys and girls. It was originally intended to teach the younger generation responsibility and discipline.

This is 2007 honey, isn't about time we abandon the archaic practice of matching any activity with gender? If you like something then you like it and gender should not play an issue.

no i think it can be for both at my primary school like everyone had one loads of the boys did. it probably is aimed more at girls as it is caring for a baby animal thing but i don't see why boys can't have it. girls can play football too can't they?

I am a guy and i love my tomagotchi....I have one of the origenals....I think gigapets leaned more towards girls
