I have been answering questions from polls and surveys for days , how many do you have to answer to be bestowed with this great honor? LOL

I have not seen any written, hard fast rules...but in looking at the numbers for the lucky ones designated as Top Contributors...seems they have more than 20, 000 points...it does not seem to be based on best answers tho. Anyway you are tops with me There did that help??
Just added info...As I was typing new TC joined in the answering and some of them only had 1900 points - so it is not based on points as I have more points than that as do you - so who knows??? Sorry I have been of no help whatsoever here?!?!

I think it's a quantity thing. I would guess close to 1000 in one week. I just accepted that I will never be a TC because I have a full time job, three dogs, a yard to maintain, a house to maintain, and a social life.

Um...I'm not sure...I really have no idea...I just came on one day and saw this top contributor thing, and I was like okay, cool! =) lolz I guess you should just keep answering questions to the best of your ability! Good luck in becoming a top contributior! =D

No number of days can determine it. It's basically set by being a dedicated answerer to a particular category. I read about it in the Yahoo! answers blog, and they were very vague...so, just keep answering. You'll don one eventually.

i dont' know. It just happened.. and i despise it.. especially knowing i'm not a top contributor of the math section.
