On the game with KU the commentators said this may be his last game. What's that about?

He had commented earlier this season that he hadn't made a decision on whether to go on to the NBA or to stay at Kentucky. It's possible he could considering his track record and if so he'd be going back on a "promise" that he made to remain in college for his four years.

And as to the rumors about Patterson, I think it's possible that he's waiting to see if Morris is going to stay or not before he makes a decision on where he goes. Also, media reported him doing "the Gator Chomp" at Kentucky vs. Florida for their senior night, but I wouldn't take too much weight in that either. The "committment" was later refuted by a reporter who spoke to Patterson's father directly.

Personally after his "my head wasn't in the game" comments about Alabama and such, if landing both Jai Lucas and Patrick Patterson can only happen if Morris leaves. Then I'm all for it.

And for anyone who's interested, there were some very very interesting comments posted in response in this article (refer to comment 4, by someone who supposidely has inside connections to an SEC atheltic department): http://nfl.aolsportsblog.com/2007/03/04/patrick-patterson-does-the-gator-chomp/

I've been hollering for him to pick up Kyle Macy on his staff for forever now. At least our free throw percentage would improve hahaha.

well ill start by saying morris is a good college player. however in my opinion he doesnt seem to be much more than a chuck hayes type player. i think his best chance of sticking in the nba would be staying in school and hoping a team just likes his experience and maybe some leadership ability he learns in college

Patterson is too smart to jump on a sinking ship.
