It was their first date.
She was classy, coming from a good home.
He was from the streets, a real mutt.
They went to an Italian Restaurant.
The waiter recognized him, but this time cooked up a complete dinner instead of table scraps.
They dined under a full moon, with candle light.
She was adorable, with long flowing hair, and beautiful big, round eyes.
He was so proud, having landed a beautiful lady.
As they ate their meal, the waiters were singing an Italian song that went like this....
"This is the night, this is the night, and they call it Bella Notte".
And as he sung for them, they gazed into each other's eyes, and the world stood still.
This was love, this was amore'.
All was right with that night, all was well in America as well. Let this moment last forever.
They were not perfect, but this date was...perfect in every way.
Bring that feeling back again!
