Yes. Panda are classified as "Ursidae", part of the bear family.
They are big and powerful. They can be aggressive, and are as dangerous as any other bear.

every animal which has teeth CAN bite. if it is bigger than you, it COULD crush you. almost all animals are capable of harming others, including the human animal. the question is how likely are they to harm you? just like sheep, they are very docile and tame but don't get on the wrong side of a ewe with a baby!
