You should be able to find compatible ink cartridges for your cx5400. They'll be much less expensive than OEM Epson cartridges and should serve your purposes.

There are several reputable websites for you to shop on. Do a search for "Epson cx5400 ink cartridges".

Make sure you read the website product warranty information, shipping policies, privacy policy, contact page and terms of use before making a purchase.

Before you enter any payment information, make sure that the payment page is secured with "https://" and that there's a lock icon at the bottom right corner of the browser.

Just go to ebay and look for original ink set for half the price compare to office depot.

I don't recommend refilled ink cartridges as they usually dried up faster than the original ones. Plus, the quality of the original inks are much better.

Good Luck!

I have found an online supplier for your Epson CX5400 cartridge that is really cheap. A complete set of compatibles, fully guaranteed for £6.56 ( incl. Vat and P&P) , posted in mainland England and Wales.

Suggest you stay away from ink refills. I have bought new cartridges for my Lexmark Z53 color printer numerous times on EBay without any problems. It was considerably cheaper too.

Walmart, Office Max and Office Depot have aftermarket cartridges which aren't too pricey. Many of the internet stores are ok - don't know about those you mentioned.
