I get the tap water as hot as it'll go, let it run into the pot while at the same time, pouring some dishwashing soap into the running water trail until the water in the pan suds up pretty good, then just let it sit until the water cools and/or the suds are gone. When you go to scrub it after you dump the water out, it should come right off.

Put a bounce dryer sheet in the bottom of the pan then fill the pan with warm water and let it sit in the sink over night. Next morning it should come right out, it not do it again, letting it sit for a couple of hours.
