I haven't seen every episode for this season but I saw last thursdays episode and Lana's doctor was saying that he will let Lana find out about her condition. What did he mean by that?

Lana's pregnancy is not through normal means. She is being used as a vessel for an experiment of Lex's. In episode 14 "Trespass", the Dr. said to Lex that "It was not the most common of pregnancies." The doctor was threatening to reveal this to Lana, to blackmail Lex.

As for the nature of the experiment, we can only guess. However, my guess is that it's a genetic experiment using Clark's blood that Lex has. I'm sure it's an experiment that will end...bizarrely.

We're not really sure what's with this baby yet. At first I thought Lex was paying a doctor to tell Lana that everything was ok, even though there was no baby (especially since she wasn't showing). But after this ultrasound... there's got to be a baby. But I'm thinking that there's some kind of kryptonite mutation or something. I'd like to know how far along she's supposed to be... she certainly isn't showing yet!

I don't know what the doctor meant by that. Try watching Smallville this Thursday and maybe there could be a scene with Lana and the doctor as he could say what he means by that.

From watching episodes from the past - such as the Lexmas episode- Lex had a dream that Lana would die if she gave birth. But you never know - the producers and creators can turn things around. But I am pretty sure that is it.
