Usually this is prevalent amongst the uneducated but exists also when the parents are uneducated and underemployed. A structural resentment is built into the Society, a jealousy, a hatred that tax money is spent on others and does not benefit the person with the anger. It may just be jealousy but is pointed toward the poor and impoverished and therefore is perceived as racism. There is racism against Caucasians also and should also be addressed. Grassy thinks we should all be able to insult each other equally in a fun not hateful manner. People ought to lighten up a little Sweetie

Just read her question as well, makes you wonder how some people can go through life being so bigoted.
If I'd adopted that attitude to black people I'd never have met some of my best friends nor gone to some of the best countries in the world.
It's a big wide world with room for everyone no matter what thier colour or creed.

Anyone that thinks they are superior to someone just because of skin color is extremely immature and superficial. I don't understand why people are racist, but I do know that our society in some ways makes people that way. The only way to completely eliminate racism is to completely eliminate racial categories and labels. Live around each other, stop isolating ourselves from each other and see each other as people and not colors.

Some of them were brought up that way. Their parents or other adult figures convince them of these things. Blame them for filling their head with that crap and them for not thinking for themselves. Ignorance breeds ignorance.

i honestly haven't got an answer to your question but it really upsets me the large number of generalisations that you see on yahoo with regards to race and religion. i do not feel superior to anyone or inferior on grounds of race or religion. perhaps if we ignored all these stupid questions then they would go away

Oh yes and you are just the person to put them in their place!! aren't you? LOL!!! Try and tell me you don't tell black jokes or laugh at them in the comfort of your own home.. PLEASE... What's worse than someone being racist? Someone who pretends to sympathize with another race and defend them like they don't stereotype them behind their back.. I'm sure that's what you do.
