Silver Shark, Tri Color Shark, Tri-Colored Shark
, Bala Shark.
Common problems with Bala Sharks include; their ability to jump, and their large size. It is extremely important to have a completely covered tank that does not allow your Bala Shark to jump out. They are accomplished jumpers. Bala Sharks also can become quite large. They have been known to grow up to 18 inches. The normal range is around 13 inches. Therefore, it is important to keep their adult size in mind. A Bala Shark should not be in an aquarium under 55 gallons.
Bala Sharks also have some unusual behaviors, making them distinctive. They are known to rest on the bottom or on a rock. Don't be surprised if you see them lounging around. They also have been known to make strange grunting or clicking sounds that you can hear.
Columbian Sharks
The Columbian Sharks is that they are predators and will eat smaller tank mates once they get big enough. In fact, some hobbyists will feed them small feeder guppies as an occasional treat.

If you are up for saltwater aquarium maintenance, I would recommend the bamboo shark. They are very small and the easiest shark to maintain. You can even buy them from an egg and hatch them yourself.
Just remember you need a huge tank to keep even a foot long shark. There are unique feeding requirements as well. Just make sure you know what you are doing.

Unless you have a 500 gallon tank, there's really no shark you can keep as a pet. Even the smallest of sharks need lots of room.

A black shark, they look lovely and striking in a tropical fish tank.
Don't forget, you can't cuddle it, the tank needs to be at the correct temperature, and remember to feed the fish and clean the tank and filter.

A Pangasius is a type of shark, but unless you have a VERY big tank (at least 800l) I wouldn't bother as they grow very big.
