This is sort of a trick question, because India is a country, but Asia is a country. But to answer your question, it is part of Asia, because that is the continnet that it is in. But it is not part of India, because that is a seperate country. However, there used to be an East Pakistan that was part of India for a length of time until it broke away from India and is now the country of Bangledesh.

LOL! Asia is a continent and India and Pakistan are both in this continent. Pakistan is a neighbouring country to India, they used to be joined. But they got seperated and are now two different countries. GET A MAP!!
