Good question...I believe they do make them swear on the Bible and I'm not sure it does any good..the atheists are probably laughing as they ask them. It's like asking them to swear on Moby Dick....just another book!

Yes they do make them swear on the bible.Its ironic that they make them do it knowing the bible to that particular person is meaningless.What I want to know is do they make Satanists swear on a Satanic bible since muslims get the Koran and Jews get the Torra to swear on whats say you I reverse the question to you which I feel is worth considering E mail me

Most courts don't use books anymore. My thought is, if a person is in court, the $200 dollar an hour lawyers are supposed to sort out fact from fiction..

Thay make everyone swear on the bible, to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. What thay don't tell you is if you lie and your catch lieing you go to jall,go directly to jall, do not pass go do not collect $200.
