How much difference does 400Mhz make in gaming?

I want to play Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. The minimum processor speed listed is 2.4 ghz with 3.0 recommended. I have an extra 256MB ram above the minimum for memory, so will my being below the minimum spec make a huge difference? Any idea what I can expect if I try to play it?

You can expect it not to work.

Last time I tried that "just a few 100mhz short" it didn't work.

no it doesnt make a difference youll still play normally.
