I believe that I have respect from all who know me. Even as an Army Drill Sergeant, I learned quickly that respect is earned...not demanded. I never asked my men to do anything that I wouldn't. And, just as in love, you must give it in order to receive it. In my retired life, I practice the same philosophy and I believe I have earned the respect of those I come into contact with.

Yes, I try to respect others I come in contact with throughout the course of any given day. I think you need to respect yourself before you are able to respect others. Treat yourself kindly, as you would like others to treat you.

Yes I try to always have respect for others, their feelings (inc. wishes and desires) and property. Others respect me as well. Sometimes you can meet up with a character that has no respect but that person does not need to stay in my life. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

Yes. I have worked really hard at earning respect from those who surround me in my life. And it so wasn't an easy job considering the life I've lived. (Had always let anybody and everybody push me around)
