Is there a way to make my crayfish grow abnormaly large? Do not answer with raise the temprarure to make them grow faster, it also ages them faster if you do that. The reason i want it to get large is to pass the gene so the babies get abnormaly large when my girl cray mates a male.

Like food or something. Some chemicals, anything that works.

Superior size is related to genetics more than foods and environment. Nothing you do to the animal will change it's genes. Increasing size would be something to do over the course of 100's of generations of crayfish, mating the largeest male to the largest female and then doing the same for the babies over and over and over again. You can't do what you want to do in a single generation, it just can't happen.

Crayfish usually eat each other as long as they're a little smaller. Try catching some just a bit smaller for him.

My suggestion would be to let nature take its course. There's really no way to force a creature to get larger than it normally would. If you want something abnormally large go to red lobster and save one of the prisoners in their tank.

Good luck with the science experiment.

Try feeding it live feeders like ghost shrimp or feeder guppies or sometimes what I will do is attach a piece of store bought shrimp to a fishing jig and mine usually like that

Feed it more or more often! Note: By doing this you may need to clean the tank alot!

I don't know, but chemicals tend to kill them or make them smaller...
