The odds of picking a perfect bracket — correctly picking the winners of all 64 games in the tournament — are 9,223,372,036, 854,775,808 to 1.

It's something like 1 in 18,234,000,000,000,000. I saw it on a billboard this morning actually and memorized the first 5 numbers. I'd like to know the whole number by the end of the tournament. But taking this into account that you could technically take all the 16 seeds, 15 seeds, etc. Realistically I'm guessing it's 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000.

Sorry I don't have the total equation but I read in the Newspaper last year that you have a better chance of getting shot and struck by lightning than you do picking a perfect bracket.

i dont kno cuz its never happened to me. i've lost about 1\2 the teams i selected from each bracket...well maybe not so much.but still every yr there are upsets. i think it maybe easier to pick a overall tournament winner than get all the teams in a bracket. most of my fav teams are out now anywayz.
