Do people always match their SIGN?

I know a capricorn, who isnt conservative at all (he's punk)... do people always match their sign?

If you were to think of your Sun sign as your soul -- your inner personality and potential -- and your Moon sign as your heart -- your emotional core -- then you could say that your rising sign is your physical self or the face you present to the world.

No people do not. However it also depends on what day they are born. Some people are born right in the center of their sign dates which means that they are all Capricorn, Scorpio, cancer, etc....however people born along the boarder of their sign and another: example someone born on October 24 is considered a Scorpio, however the dates that make you a Scorpio are from 10-23 to 11-21, so this person could have influences from the previous sign Libra, and sometimes have their traits.

Not always, but remember Caps tend to get more..childlike as they age. They start conservative and go backward.

There is more to it then the sun sign. For example...I am a Libra, with a Libra Ascendant and Moon in Pisces. The double Libra makes me more Libra-ihs, but that moon position makes me a little more sensitive and introverted where many Libras are social and outgoing.

If all you know is a Sun sign you're missing most of the chart. It's like saying all Americans behave a certain way without taking into account where they are from (traditional midwest values vs. liberal west coast values...to use a 'very' generalization.)

Once you have a birth chart, you also have to project a current chart. (ie we're all a product of our parents-where we come from, but we are also a product of what we experience). So in answer to your question, people usually match their charts if not their signs.

I'm a Gemini, and you can list the points, one for one, and describe me. I believe there is some truth to Astrology, but realize it's meant as a guide, not a hard set of rules. You may be born a certain way, and act a completely different way. There are so many factors that create a person. Environment, for example. Take a Leo, strong, in charge, confident leader. What if that person was always looked down upon, humiliated and generally made miserable throughout his growing years? Like a science experiment: Take a petri dish, leave it under the hood, and let it grow penicillin (or whatever you decide to put under there) and it will be exactly that. But, if you leave it on the desk, it will become something else, and I promise you don't want to inject THAT in your arm! We are products of the life we lead, the experiences we endure (and enjoy!) and the stars that guide us.

I think that every sign's traits could relate to everyone. I mean I am a Libra but could be any other sign as well. I have a stubborn nature like Taurus and zen like aries. If you read the paper and just pick a sign other than your own, you could relate it to yourself for sure.

to them they might not think so but if they htink outside the box it always narrow down to how they match thier sign. see most people are afraid to believe taht they match their sign so they try to think of otherways to see why they have the characteristics and the personality that they do! see you do match your sign but you are born from other signs and you develope some characteristics from the signs you were born under!

i'm Capricorn, and i'm freaking emo/punk/goth.. the complete opposite of the pretty, somewhat conservative capricorn i'm supposed to be.
