Short-haired, less dander, fewer allergens.

The benefit for asthma is indirect. They are a safer breed for asthmatics than many.

Uh, I don't know that they directly help. Maybe they create less allergens, less pet dander than other pets.

But that would just be less of the general stuff that aggravates asthma, not helping it directly.

IDK, I've never heard of that.

But they're cute! Maybe if you were in a better mood, your asthma would improve? Like, it would reduce your stress?

Interesting theory. Odd, but interesting.
