Im looking for a CPU cooling fan that will fit in my Dell Dimension e520. The processor is a Intel Core 2 Duo 6400

its an intel cpu, so it doesnt matter that its dell
they can only change the shape of teh motherboard, not the socket

Sadly dell makes their systems a little goofie so that you ahve to buy the parts from them. Contact the Dell parts department for your country (if you still have your manual, look on page 9 or 13 if I remember correctly). Give them your service tag number (found on the top of your system on a gray sticker, or on the back on a white sticker) and request a quote for the part. You can get the part number and perhaps find a cheaper equivilant.

You can buy the Coolmaster brand. I just recently built a computer and it offers excellent cooling to the Motherboard. I am very happy with my decision! Hope that helps.
