I would have to go with Nash, not only because he is small and quick, but because he knows that there is no "I in team." He actually passes and shares the ball, unlike other famous players( James, Wade, Bryant, O'Neal, and etc.). Nash knows how to find the open player even if it takes quite some time, but either one of his team mates are open or he takes the shot himself. Nash my not be as cute as Dwyane Wade, but is certainly a better overall player. Dwyane may have better ups, but not better team work. Nash has him beat by a long shot!

I would definitely have to say Wade. Wade is a much better player offensively and defensively, and has only been in the league 8 years as opposed to Nash, who has been in the league for 11 years. Wade is still a work in progress, but is a brilliant player and doesn't think also about himself, but for his team also. His best work was shown in the NBA finals last year, where he only took over when Miami was losing 2-0. I'm not saying Nash is a bad player--I'm saying D-Wade is a much better player in the amount of time each person has been professional.

In terms of who I would want on my team, Id say its a tie. Both are very efficient scorers. Dwayne Wade scores a bit more per game and has a very high field goal percentage for a guard and goes to line. Nash is a much better pure point guard in terms of an assist standpoint and has above a 50% shooting percentage, is a much better 3-pt shooter than Wade, and is amazing from the line. He is the reason that Phoenix offense is so powerful. Not only does he cause his team to shoot a very high field goal percentage, despite the large number of 3s that they shoot, and shoot very well I might add, but they make very few turnover consider their high shooting efficiency and number of shots that they take. Their isnt anyone in the NBA that can match Nash at what he does. This is why he won the MVP the past two years.
The only downside to Nash is that by running the high tempo game that he and the Suns run make it very difficult to play great defense, and basically the strategy of the Phoenix game is to dare their opponents to try to score as much and as efficiently, while creating as few turnovers as they do, and pretty much they are right that there opponents cant keep up. Coincidently, for this reason and with the Miami halfcourt offense, I think Phoenix would have matched up better against Miami in the finals due to this fact. Shaq and Mourning could not have kept up.
Wade, on the other hand, is a better rebounder, and scores as effectively as he does in a halfcourt offense which warrants additional merit. This enables Miami to play a slower game, be more effective on defense, and still play more efficiently on offense. I also credit Wade much more than Kobe for his effectiveness in the NBA finals. On the Lakers, Shaq was scoring close to 40 pts per game while the other team shut down Kobe. On Miami, it was Wade who shouldered the load.
Probably, for the reasons I mentioned, Wade is more important and useful to the Heat than Nash would be. And Nash is more important and useful to Phoenix than Wade could be.
Nash and Wade though are definitely the two guards that I would want most on my team. I would take either over Kobe or Gilbert, but I dont think I could take one over the other unless I knew who else I was gonna have on my team.

I would say steve nash. he carry's his team on his back, wade is a great player but isnt better all aorund than nash. Even though nash only puts up 13-14 points a game but he also contributes with 15+ assists and is very agile. He can also score in clutch situations so i think he contributes more to his team.

Wow, tough question, the two-time defending league MVP versus the young stud with the championship ring and the Finals MVP trophy. I think if it were phrased "who would you start a franchise with?" everyone would choose D-Wade because of his youth. If I had them for only one season, I think I'd have to choose Nash because of his ability to INSTANTLY raise the games of all his teammates. Everyone has their career year running down the court with Steve Nash. Wade certainly gets his assists too, and is the more prolific scorer, but he doesn't get his teammates as involved as Nash. So...for a franchise, I'd take D-Wade. For a single season, I'd choose Steve Nash.
Did that help at all? LOL

Wade has won the trophy, but that is tough. I would go with Nash, because how good would Stoudamire, Marion, Barbosa, Bell, etc be without Nash for a year. Wade did this kind of thing at Marquette, but the Heat were .500 without Shaq. So I'll give the nod to Nash. He passes, shoots, hits free throws, gets others involved, leads. Although his defense is weak.

On every aspect of the game its Kobe
between those two...Nash...and everyone that said Wade...ignore them they don't watch ball...just followers of popularity not the game...Nash is better because he creates offense for the team not getting phantom calls that even if someone touches him its a foul...maybe Wade should go to the WNBA...yeah i said it...he was crying over a shoulder injury...why?? hes not strong enough, he doesn't know how much it hurts to get fouled...hes a good actor =)

Steve Nash. He could shot threes, assist, get close with the man with ball, he can steal, and he is a team player. Wade can only dunk, nothing special.
