can you explain me why in a scientific way please?

It can be because they are not ovulating. Or they are ovulating late in their cycle. Most women don't have 28 day cycles and most women don't ovulate on day 14. It varies month to month and woman to woman.

Just because you are not sexually active you body still has a regular period. It is good for your body to be on a regular period because if it was not regular then there is a chance there is something wrong. The body does not stop ovulating if a woman is not having sex all the time; it's like clockwork. Besides, the body does not know when we are having sex or if we are not it's just a natural part of mother nature for the period to occur.

your period and sexually activity have nothing really to do with each other. They are only mildly connected due to ovulation. Your body will release eggs every month regardless of whether you are sexually active or not. Your period is your body's way of flushing it out of your body.

that is just not true it has nothing to due with sexually active, it is your hormones
