We drove from CA to NC we took our time it took 4-1/2 days.. I know of one guy and his Dad that drove from GA to CA in about 2 days that was non stop cept for gas.
My brother took 5 days with the Amtrak train cause they stop a lot and he had to transfer a few times once in Chicago and once in Pennsylvania.
