I'm actually trying to read four books right now, two for school, which means the two books for school are kinda boring. The other two are very interesting, one is about meteorology called The Handy Weather Answer book and the other one is a dragon series book called Aerie. =)

R. Scott Reiss Black Monday - So so end of world as we know it.

Cobra II :Inside Story of invasion of Iraq by Michael R. Gordon. Interesting but time will tell if this is the real history of the conflict.

Ambush Alley (forget Author). Excellent story of Marines in Iraq. Goes into mistakes made as well as how the actual grunts were the ones who saved the day.

The Age of Faillability, by George Soros. He analyses the consequences of the so-called war on terror, and whether America is using its influence in the world in a negative way. Difficult to summarise as I have not finished yet, but worth a read so far.

Shuttlecock by Graham Smith. I've only just started it, and don't much like the main character (who tells the story): he ill-treated his hamster when he was a boy, now bullies his wife and children and moans about his boss. Last book I read was The Troublesome Offspring of Cardinal Guzman by Louis de Bernieres, which is excellent.

Heavy duty history book about Marshal Tito and the collapse of Yugoslavia. I am working and living in Zagreb to and everyone looks at it and says "Jesus what are you reading that depressing **** for?" But i was here in the war and am trying to get a handle on what the hell it was all about so it is good in a sense of understanding how easily what we call civilisation can collapse very quickly. Its also kind of scary how easily all of us can turn on our neighbours

"When Bad Things Happen To Good People" by Harold S. Kushner. And "Notes On A Scandal" by Zoe Heller.
That quite interesting and enlightning at the same time. Good reads you should try it sometime.
