The only place to find out that information is at the county property appraiser and/or county tax collector. Look for your state's county website and put in your property id number. The property id number will list the property type.
Are you wanting this to be listed as a trailer or single family home? Did the property ever have a permit pulled for the remodel job? Lots of worms you may open with your questions.

Purchasing a place that was built around a single wide trailer is very dangerous. It will never be classified as anything else then a trailer. Your insurance will go up and your taxes will go up as well. You may be sued by the county because your swing is too long for the tree it is tied to. Cut the branch seven inches away from the largest growth ring and you should have it fixed.

Your tax records will say. I seriously doubt that something like that was ever approved or that you could get it approved after the fact.
