Explain the situation to the judge and let him decide. He will probably put time restrictions on the calls which will be acceptable to you. This way the judge can handle it if he missuses his calls. Unless, you can prove his calls are bothering the kids, he wont stop the calls, but he will tell dad the consequences if he abuses the privledge. Then just monitor his calls and make sure he falls in line. Good luck

Unless he is abusive to the kids, allow him to talk to them, keeping them away from a father that wants to be there for his kids only makes you look bad and bitter. Be civil your kids deserve that. And in court, it is mandatory that each of the parents keep the other parent informed of information like address, phone number, school report cards, holiday's etc. It will work better in your favor if you don't show your horns in court.

You HAVE to let them talk to there dad, unless there is a court order that says he has no contact. If you don't want him having your home phone, fine. Get a cell phone just for the kids. One they can use to talk to their dad and their dad only. Even if it is a prepaid phone. I don't know how old the kids are, but if you refuse to let them talk to their dad even one time, they will want to be with him even more, no matter how bad a parent he may be. It really isn't fair to the kids to refuse them their dad.

yep as a matter of fact the courts will order you to give him a phone number so he can call .. so if you dont want him having the home phone number than you better get a cell phone for him to call .

I'd make it clear to him that he was not to speak to them about what was going on between us, or in the upcoming court event, but you have to let him have contact with them. He's their father, and he donated half the DNA.

Oh yeah, you are wrong on this one; you can't keep the dad from seeing / talking to his kids unless he's a pedophile. they need to have a relationship with him, whether you like him or it. That part is not up to you.
