I quote from senior commentators: In the modern day football you only need the slightest touch to concede a penalty. OK, then why is it not applied by other players? The only difference of the 1/4 final replay was a penalty and we all should not forget-it was a penalty that earned MANU a replay in the first place. If you are big as a player, you don't need to cheat!

So. You are not talking about Ronaldo. You are talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, a completely different player. Your question suggests to me that you have never seen a team called Chelsea FC play football. Drogba and Robben go down more times than an enthusiastic prostitute and Chelsea stole two points the other night against Man City when Kalou dived. Cristiano Ronaldo does cheat sometimes, but until the authorities bring in proper sanctions against this cowardly behaviour, half the Premiership will continue to do it. Cristiano Ronaldo is by no means the worst offender.

Its called jealousy. Ronaldo gets himself into positions where defenders panic (step forward Mr. Woodgate) and they make contact with him. Because he is moving at such a high speed, the slightest touch makes him lose balance and fall under the challenge.

The penalty which earned Man Utd a replay was handball by Boateng (Boro player) so I fail to see how this has got anything to do with the argument.

For other examples of 'natural cheats' please see Owen for England vs Argentina, Robben (Chelsea/Holland) and most players on the continent who go down like they were in the movie 'Platoon'

He may not be a cheat, but maybe his legs were just "too weak" that slight contact will giveway. You are right that Man U don't deserve to be in FA Cup semi final. Boro are playing much better than Man U.

I think it is because he is a very skilled young bloke but a bit lightweight so if you are running fast like he do,s you will seem to get decked easily but saying that he has started diving a bit lately !

it's called the champions luck. Stop being a sore loser and just get on with your life. These things always happens and people always have to find one person to blame. Penalties are always controversial so people have many DIFFERENT opinions on them.

I agree. If it gets awarded in most situations (Kalou's midweek) then why should he stop? There wasn't much contact, but he did have Woodgate beat, and Schwarzer hadn't arrived. You have to add those components as well.
