it's better to know the feeling of love and enjoyment of it although at times it will cause you pain rather then being alone and not experiencing love.

I think it is better to have loved. Then at least you know how it feels. There are very few people in the world who have never felt love. Most people feel it for their parents or family, friends, pets, celebrities. I would rather have known love and loss so I can learn from each experience and become a better, stronger person.

I think it is true (having loved and lost a few times) because if you don't (and I mean ask someone out) you will always wonder how it could have gone. And if it works out, and eventually you break up or something of that nature, you will know how it went, and have happy memories to visit in your dark times.

Because then at least you've had the experience. You know what love is about. To have never known what it means to love? Sad.

Just to have had the sheer experience of love and all the ups & downs it brings is better than not to have gone through it in the first place...

And, from the instances I've been through, sure...I'd go through it all again to experience what I have.

Is it better to have lost wealth or to have never had wealth? Same principle. I'd pick the former.

The good times are worth the loss. It's one of those things that you can't really explain, you just have to experience it yourself.
