It sounds like your teacher followed the classroom discipline established at the beginning of the year, and now you are upset because you were given consequences for your inappropriate behavior.
Sorry life isn't fair. Oh yeah! She was only following the rules when you did not!
Best advice is to talk with her during that after school detention.

The bigger question is what's up with you. First off, you failed to say WHY she gave you punishment. Did you wear the wrong color shirt today or what? Secondly, I'm sure I can speak for all my fellow teachers when I say that we don't care enough about ruining your day to take the time to TRY to ruin it. We've got better things to do with our time...like try to teach. If you think she's doing all this to you through no fault of your own, you must be one special kid to get so much attention.

Well, you don't describe what you were doing. I guess you were just *totally* innocent? Not.
The teacher sounds like she was following a good course of progressive disciplinary steps; and gave you at least 3 chances to straighten up and fly right.
Remember that you are only one student, in a room of what, 25 or so kids? She has to teach all of her students, not *just* you.

You're only telling half the story. Even if the Teacher is over reacting, she is over reacting to something your are doing. What's the rest of the story?
