Some foul language, some blood and gore (a bit scary for little kids - it is a bit of a 'horror' movie)... pretty dang funny good movie though.

The language is really bad- The main scary guys are referred to as Mother *******
Also it was pretty scary for children. I saw it as a 7 year old and it scared me silly!

Language is about all. The closest it gets to nudity is one girl has to ditch her pants when the graboid tries to get her, but she's got a long shirt and underwear. There's shooting, but not at people. And really there's no violence. Just the language. It's one of my favorite movies!

Some language, no nudity, and mostly just because of the scariness factor, which this many years later is not scary at all. Still love it though, it's pretty cheesy to me, but that's one that I grew up with.

People get killed--eaten by underground burrowing worm-thingies.
Most of the violence is "implied" and not shown vey graphically on screen.
The rating may be due to this AND some fairly salty language.

Its not a bad movie, it has some cussing and and some people get eaten, but it never shows the thing actually consuming anyone. and there is on part that shows a woman in her under ware!

i dont think so but come one pg-13? i mean u can be like 10 and still see pg 13 movies its not like ppls heads blow off

Not bad. Just scary for some kids. Big, ugly, slimy monsters and general terror and violence. Mildly bad language. Most fairly mature kids would be fine.

Lots of cussin, blood,and people getten eaten.Not too good for little kids. But still my 7 year old and 11 year old daughters watch it and their fine with it.
