Loch Ness, Scotland. About 5" of snow so far and more to come according to the forecast. Yes, it is awesomely beautiful, but to be practical, it is a bit of a nuisance. We seem to cope with it well up here though as we are used to it and I had to go out first thing this morning and the main road into Inverness (the A82) was perfectly clear.
The back of my house overlooks a wee loch and it is like a Christmas card at the moment and I do enjoy looking at it.

NO !!! i had to take my son to nursery school this morning, and then pick him up mid afternoon... and because my car is being repaired at the moment, we had to walk. it was freezing cold, blowing a gale, and we got caught in a hail storm on the way home ! that was about 7 hours ago, and i still haven't managed to warm through - even with the heating on full blast ! and the really 'wonderful' thing is that we have to do it all over again tomorrow !!! what happened to global warming ?!? lol

Not at all. Here in Canada it has been snowing at least once a week this entire winter... I'm sick of it and it's freezing and the conditions are really icy.
