If you hate biology nothing can really help you except for if you decided to just get over it and study like your presumable do for all the rest of your classes. Read, remember, understand, and read it again. Hopefully after a while you will need to remember less since you understand the material at a deeper level.

I'm not sure if this'll work but find a friend that completely bores you to death while with a group of people you don't know. Pull your books out and study. You'll be amazed at how interesting biology really is. LOL
