Not a huge fan, but I did really like "Dog Day Afternoon"!

He's a great guy for playing characters you can really loathe. Few actors of that high a profile will be willing to be so feared and hated.
In everything from Dick Tracy to the Devils Advocate, and the more "serious" things, he's always there to play the perfect villain.
Still, there's a human touch to his villains, a kind of full anger that gives it a third dimension. We sense he is a feeling bad guy, and can feel sorry for him, a true "tragic hero". So, even if he plays a villain, if we see him out of character, we know there's a human inside.

He is the most talented actor I've seen so far. Best performance ever is of course Scent of a Woman, powerful. Can't wait to see him in Oceans 13

Not a big fan, but I did like him in the Godfather movies, Heat, and a few other movies here and there.
