What do you guys think of "Girlfriend"?

But honestly. What do you think?
Personally, I despise the whole effing song and all Avril's become now. =( It's so very sad, is it not? I makes me feel very emo. XP

She's very different now so I don't really know what to say... in a recent interview in Seventeen she said that she was "so girly, it's not even funny" when before she was a "skater girl" and stuff... I guess people change but I'm not sure if I like her new image or not. That song it's bad but it isn't good either. It just sounds like any other pop song... some of the language variations are wierd.

It's not that bad of a song & I kinda like it..... *cowers & holds up hands in defense* "please don't hurt me w/ that butter knife?!"
BUT at the same time I'm slightly disappointed cause it seems she's gone a lil more towards the bubble gum-y Pop music side. I looooved her stuff before & actually have her first two albums. I've actually gotten quite sick of pop, r&b, rap & the like. All I listen to now is the alternative/punk/metal type stuff....it just seems more fun & not all the same crap all the time.
P.S. I do like her look though...then & now. She's always got something unique on & I love it!

I haven't seen the video yet, I didn't like the song at first because it was so not her lol but it's kinda catchy I kinda like it

I used to like her but now she is really different. Her song Girlfriend is SOOOOOOOOO stupid!!!!
