If you shave your face, arms or legs, and go straight to a tanning salon does this increase your chances of skin cancer in anyway? doing it about once a week or so?

Shaving has no effect on tanning whatsoever. the only thing that can cause cancer from tanning is burning. If you burn only once your chances for developing skin cancer is increased. The only thing that will happen if you shave before tanning is if you use a bronzing lotion you can get "spotty" from the pores being open.

No.... open pores have no effect in terms of getting cancer. If you get a sunburn 3 times or more you have a higher chance of getting cancer.

Shaving right before tanning, or right after tanning, can cause skin irritation though
