what do you think about music piracy is it o.k. or not?

limewire is not piracy its called sharing and torrents is called sharing too. They want to make it illegal but its not. xD and they can't arrest you! They would have to arrest the whole world and when they have people have won the case because its sharing and they know that people can defend their case by saying that its sharing. Which it is.

It's good for some reasons but in reality it's not good.
As said piracy gets artists more popularity but then again there is money being lost from the process obviously. And then again that money is really going to record companies, not the band itself.
The solution:
A: Make the price of music lower by decreasing record company's profits
B: Get international trade enforcements to crack down on it and
C: Shut down P2P sites who download for free.

Why should I waste my money for a 10-songs cd,if I like just one or two songs??? I buy the records of my fav artist cause I'm sure I won't get disappointed,but what with ALL the songs that I like?? Anyway,when I watch MTV's Faboulous Life Of, I see that they've not become poor....despite Internet downloads and music piracy. They invest their money and get a lot from concerts and merchandising too,so...

No it is not because the music Industry will be no more in the future if it keeps going on.
However I do not care right now cuz they make enough money as it is. Like I heard on the radio That kanye west spend over $10,000 dollars just to get food delivered to him from far and that place dose not even deliver food
Hell if they can afford to do that the F'em I will get free music
And celebs get a ton of free stuff as it is

It ok....its true that record labels lose alot of money....but if its like the artist say..."WE DO IT FOR THE LOVE OF THE MUSIC!" it shouldnt matter. Regradless....real fans of any band or artist would support them buy buying there music or attending there shows, cuz they make most of there money on tour!

I think it is a good idea because many bands get popular from it... Not only that but most bands get their money from touring. The only bands that have a problem with it are the bands who suck live. :D

First up, it's illegal. So I don't reckon it's ok at all. If you do it, you're most likely to get arrested.
