I'm black and a friend sent a forwarded email (I think I'm the only black person he knows)with a couple racist jokes in it.Should I not say anything and just stop talking to him or should I reply telling him about the email ,then stop talking to him?

That was really rude of him to send that knowing that you are black. Tell him that it really upset you and if does not apologize stop communicating with him. And block e-mails from him

Obviously it offended you or you wouldn't be asking for help. I would forward the email back to him and change the subject to just read 'jokes'. Then I would write at the top -- some are appropriate these are not. And sign your name.
I would leave it at that. It should let him know why you are not speaking to him and it allows you to be a better person.

WEll first make sure he knew that he sent it to you and make sure it was not a mistake if he meant to Set him Straight tell him it was rude and completely racist!

I think you should reply back to him telling him how inappropriate that was and don't ever be his friend again.

Front him about it, he may have made a mistake and then he may have been acting stupid.Put him in his place that way he'll know that you do not approve of those type e-mails.....

If so I would just mention it in conversation that it did. I wouldnt stop talking to that person.
