My sister in-law and I were best friends and know we haven't seen each other since this happened and I just want to know should I tell her secrets or keep them to myself

First off, you need to take a deep breath, let it out slowly, and think this over.

Here's the thing about revenge - it takes time, and energy (that you could devote to something else). It also rarely gets you anywhere better than where you are now. Let's assume you got revenge - you'd have a moment of triumph, followed by a lot of grief. Your family (especially your brother) is unlikely to thank you.

Someone once said, "Living well is the best revenge." It's true. What could be more frustrating to this person who feels the need to lie and betray your trust, than for you to let it go and get on with your life?

While you're planning revenge, you're focused on her. Nobody ever got to a good place in the future by walking facing backward. You're focusing on her, which is understandable, but just gives her more power over your life.

That said, you say she's wanted by the police. If it's for something serious, you can turn her in anonymously - but I'd think that one over before making the call.

None of this means you have to pretend she's your best friend, or that you even like her, but if you treat her politely, in time, everyone will start to wonder if she was telling the truth about you, which will make them wonder about how honest she is. As it is, by trying to plot revenge, you're making sure that your life is all about her - and you'll seem to be verifying all the bad things she said about you.

The best revenge is to be the better person and let it go. She did those things out of spite and malice, because she has a small ego and the only pleasure she gets is in making your life miserable. Don't give her the power to do so.

I'm not sure how you can make amends with the family, but hopefully if you can spend time with them and show them who you really are and what you're about, they'll realize that she's full of it. Besides, the law will catch up with her someday, and then what's she going to say?

Are you nonetheless talking about that cake she gave you on the most suitable social gathering you went to? replaced into your spouse sorry in any respect about that or did she imagine it replaced into humorous too? in view that your spouse is the tremendous blabbermouth you should ask her what she intends to do about her sister formerly you may flow to the subsequent kin accumulating. help her alongside and enable her be conscious of that the in person-friendly words ideal answer is that she is going to end encouraging her sister with assistance from no longer telling her something about your sex life anymore. it truly is what you want, proper? it really is form of revenge on your sister-in-regulation in view that she will be in a position to no longer get to hearken to something strong anymore.

Ouch! I wouldn't tell that. That could really upset her. But play a practical joke on her. Example: Putting " whoopie cushions " under a chair or something funny like that.
