to admit that I am beautiful, witty, intelligent, and a kickass fighter when it's all true?
Do people simply not like to hear that another person is great in a lot of ways because they feel inadequate about themselves? Is it just jealousy?

Nope, its not arrogant to state the truth. Its good that you´re confident about who you are and what you´re capable of.
The only point where pointing out all your good sides becomes arrogant is the point where you think you are better than other people for it. And since im sure you dont think that way, just dont let people´s sometimes negative comments get you down. You know who you are, and thats all that matters. :)

Note that everything you are saying is just an opinion! No offense, but I just don't think it is neccesarily a fact. People that boast give off the impression that they feel superior and that they are vain! Plus, why would people be jealous of a narcissistic sounding girl? ^__^

in a situation
i think goes like this
and its also like crab mentality
sometimes i would come across a couple...in a restaurant or public place...
then i noticed that the guy's gf is looking at me like she wants me or attracted to me...then when the guy notices this he looks at me like he wants to kill me or something...
so insecurity is one
in the same situation
sometimes a guy would comment on the way i look to tell his gf ..like his hair is so gay..or..he just looks like he's taking steroids..and some more stupid comments that i could actually hear...but actually thats just jealousy..because he thinks hes not good enough cause im more attractive than him and his gf is looking at me in a uncomfortable manner...and he cant stand it so he tries to bring me down..
so jealousy is another...
and i was just there...not doing anything but get mean comments from people...
its not like were running around shouting to the world..
HEY PEOPLE LOOK AT ME IM SO BEAUTIFUL...
