I don't think so. the world has enough food to support us all, we just haven't worked out the delivery system yet.

Latest population trends I've seen have the world topping off at around 9 billion, and then gradually settling down. We're just seeing a classic boom right now because of medical advancements. Eventually the birthrate will settle down.

If there are too many people now, then how come every measure in the average standard of living is better now than when there were only one billion people?

Overpopulation is a myth. That many people continue to live in poverty, etc. has far more to do with corrupt politics than with population levels. In fact, for the vast majority of humanity, there has never been a better time to be alive. It's sad that so many people cannot take an honest look at history and are obssessed with only the bad things about the world.

when you think about it from a global stance.... yes. Population increases when demand increases. therefore you might run out of room for industrial construction. Whith all of the subrbs and closed communities being built, there won't be any room just for a lake or just nature. But overall theres nothing that you really can do about the world having to many people in it. just make enough room for you and your loved one lol.

yes we have to many people for the current systems, remember to keep food prices regulated they have to destroy extra food so the price doesn't go down. there is enough to feed every human but government and business don't work in favor of feed everyone, it it was all good, what would be the point of politicians? they need conflict and something to keep power, same with some companies. if we wanted to feed everyone we would but, its about power. so yes and no to the question. peole who are starving are on the streets but fat people and people with eating disorders are in hospitals.....this is by design.....

Depends on personal values. Yes it is according to I. I'd like a world with dimension that still has wilderness to roam with my kids. I'd have piece of mind knowing there's enough extra arable land to overcome a natural disaster.I'd like to witness animals -not see them only at zoos or books. Without this we aren't really human anymore.
