I dont understand homophobia, I mean a person is a person and should be treated with respect what ever their beliefs, race, religion or sexual orientation, just because a person is attracted to the same sex doesnt make them a bad person, and does not mean they warrant people to be rude of ignorant to them, its not as if they chose their biology or DNA makeup, they cant help it that they are attracted to a certain person just like we cant help being attracted to the opposite sex. Gay people have rights to, this sort of hatred shouldnt really exist, and can only be obolished if people except others for who they are, and start teaching future generations to respect everyone, and take the taboo of homosexuality away. Lol so in answer to your question gay friendly :-)

Reading the other answers here i'd guess you'd call me homo friendly based on the perameters set out. I'm firmly of the opinion of live and let love (and yes I know what I wrote!) Everyone should be allowed to be what they want to be - within reason.

I listen a lot to the talk radio stations like LBC and such and when they do a feature on 'being gay' they always focus on the same things - how the person that's gay is always the victim. Cast out by the family, beaten up by gay bashers etc. Now and again they'll throw in a happy ending story about how the family came to terms with it etc

But no one I've heard, not even the great Anna Raeburn ever seems to discuss the concept of being gay. Everyone seems too frightened of not being seen as not PC enough towards the gay community.

By virtue of its own nature Homosexuality is not a natural state or procreation wouldn't have occurred and its no good saying to me that we have artificial insemination now either because that hasn't been available since there has been documented evidence of homosexuality.

It is my understanding that Homosexuals find sex with the opposite sex as abhorent as we do with the same sex, especially most men! Yet homosexuals think its perfectly natural to prefer the company of their own sex. Is that the way that society is destined to go and if it is how are we going to get round the problem of reproduction.

What if a concious decision was made to steer the human race towards homosexuality and then it was found that current artificial insemination techniques were found to be unsafe?

Even if a full proof means of egg and sperm donation was found, that would put women or should I say Lesbians, since were now in the realms of a gay utopia in a strong but nonetheless precarious position the world over since they would be under increasing pressure to become baby making machines and could hold the mans world to ransom.

So rather than ask in a roundabout way the same questions that affect the gay community, like are you friend or foe to them, perhaps we should be asking whether homosexuality is a genetic disorder or a natural evolutionary progression?

Just because some people think homosexuality is wrong, It is not fair to label them a homophobe. I don't agree with homosexuality, but I have friends that are gay. They know where I stand but they also know that I love people reguardless of their lifestyle. As a Christian I am called to love everyone. I have friends that are gay, lesbian, bi, goth, emo, alcoholics, wiccan, atheist, and drug addicts, and I love everyone of them.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

I have gay friends and what they do behind closed doors is their own business. But the couple of times I've been to gay clubs I was a bit grossed out to see everybody slobbering over each other. It's like they are showing off how gay there are or something.

Gay friendly.

What I do object to though, straight or gay, is hearing all the details (like on the train etc etc) It should be private, I don't need to know.

Ive got more important things to worry about in my life that what other people do between their bedsheets. If they're nice people will be spoken to with respect. If they are good at their job (and I've worked with some) they will be treated as professionals. If they try to get in my face about their homosexuality/lesbianism I'll tell them to bugger off.
