Would you actually pay that much? Are we looking at a never ending bump in the cost in game systems?

I wouldn't really pay that much. That would be a super waste for the company who would make it. No one would but it because of it's high price even if it would be the best game system.

I won't buy them and neither will many others. This will not happen because the hardware manufacturers depend on a large console base in order to actually turn a profit with the games.

If nobody buys their consoles, they will not sell any games.

Ive been wondering the same thing but they should know what they're doing cause people will might start complaining some time soon about the prices.

I won't , but I don't play the games ,there are many who will pay whatever
