My daughters are always saying that to their boyfriends, even if they just started seeing each other. Of course they are only 12 and I tell them they don't know what love is yet and they shouldn't just throw those words around like they mean nothing. She should just tell him she loves him as a friend but she's not in love with him. There is a difference. Good-luck to your friend.

sad to admit, but yes.
but that was when i was 14 and didn't really know what love meant. i guess at the time i did, but looking back, i really didn't. goes to show you how much life teaches you along the way...
