people wouldn't even consider sexual correction surgery unless they already do think like the other sex. this isn't a fun experiment, this is reality. this is about making the body agree with the brain..

the brain tells me i am a female, my brain disagrees with my body.. i already think i am a woman, i already think i am a female. having my penis modified into a vagina will just be the final touch. my thinking won't change.. i will just finally be able to feel comfortable with my own sexuality..

The reason why people get sex changes is because they were born in the wrong shell basically. A man who wants to change to a woman already feels like a woman.... understand? Thats the whole point behind the sex change.

Actually the "thinking" you refer to would be taking place BEFORE the surgery, for the most part the "thinking" is the entire reason behind the surgery.

Thats WHY they want the surgery done in the first place. Because they already feel as if they are the opposite sex mentally & emotionally already.

A friend of mine was born in a mans body, even though he was meant to be female, a genetic screw up he/she called it, after the op she felt complete as a female.

The person will think the same, afterall it's the sex that's being changed, not the brain.

If your waiting for surgery to change from one gender to another, your already mind-set in your new gender role.
