So I have a song, and it is 3:48. When I play it in RealPlayer, or even in iTunes, it plays it for 3:48. But on my iPod, it only plays 3:00 of it. It also says that it is only 3:00 on my iTunes list. When it's playing, it will say like... 3:15 of 3:00.
Why does it do this? It is aggravating? Can somebody please tell me how to fix it?!

i get a similar thing on my mp3 player......scissor sisters songs will not play on it, it just makes a crackling noise then jumps to the next playable track, its something to do with the file structure on your pc, sure it plays fine on the pc, but somewhere during the sync process it corrupts the file, this also applies to the time issue you mentioned (i think)??
Computers are fine when they work but a bit*h when they dont -
try deleting the song off your pc totally, then using the cd copy it back to the pc and see if that works......

Your song file is corrupted. If I were you, I'd try redownloading it (preferably from a different souce, so you don't get a corrupted file again). Good luck!
