I have a feeling Lane will get his spot back from Scott.

I think Scott will start the season because we all want to see if he can keep his hitting going, but Lane is putting up a fight this far in spring training. Both are hitting about the same and Lane has proven he has power. He is also pretty good defensively. It'll be interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Lane take over later in the season. And Pence will not be on the opening day roster.

Scott will start Lane will be the backup and play in about 1/3 of the games. He's got a lot pop in his bat but he has hard time hitting his weight.

Luke Scott is the man for the job. Jason Lane has failed miserably in his attempts without any competition, and Hidalgo is a has-been. Scott all the way. Anyone who can put up the numbers he did in his MLB 101 crash course last season deserves the job. He blows Lane away in plate discipline, has very good power, and plays a decent RF.

I feel it should be Luke Scott job in right, he earn it last year,he help the team more than Lane did.Lane had lots of chances last year and did not produce,he is lucky to still be on the team this year,i would have traded him long time ago.
