I seem to end up in conversations with old people,which is kind of cool.
They appreciate having someone to talk to,and they have the most amazing stories to tell.

I never meet a stranger!! If I'm not in a rush, I will talk to anyone!! I'm on a first name basis with every convenience store employee in town!!

Yes, it is an interesting way to meet people.
I usually go to places were I am familer, and sort of welcome strangers there (usually bar rooms).
You meet the most interesting people that way. . .

i talk to people in the checkout line in shops.freaks them out.gives me a laugh tho!
