This war is a disaster and this isn't an accomplishment, but Bush and Cheney have managed to privatize the military more than any time in our history. Over 40% of the funding toward this war is going to private contractors including private mercenaries such as Blackwater. Scarey that they are trying to make it so private soldiers and mercenary groups like this can't be brought to civilian courts or military courts. Congress has been trying to subpeana Blackwater documents and papers for along time now and can't get anywhere because the private mercenary company, Blackwater, say that the documents are classified. Classified from whom? OUr own congress? This is absolutely absurd and fascist.

Well first we got rid of Saddaam, the primary objective. Then:
*We set up an election, which was by far the most successfull, most democratic election in all of the middle east
*We managed to train double the amount of troops we have there, no there are 323,000 Iraqi troops and only 150k US troops
*We are currently working on maintaining a hold on sectarian volence, and in another couple of months that will be accomplished to
*oh yah, we found the chemical WMDs as well as several other variants.
ALSO:
A poll which jsut came out today which polls the alrgest number of Iraqis as to whether tehy have genuine hope as to whether there is hope and if they want america to stay and they OVERWHELMINGLY showed support for the US staying there. Check the "british opinion poll", over 5,000 iraqis were polled for this.

The US has actually accomplished alot. First of all they overthrew the terror of Saddam Hussein. He was treating his civilians incorrectly. Now with no organized government the US troops have been acting as peace keepers ensuring that it is safe to walk those streets. They are fighting for Democracy. They have accomplished more than you think. They have helped establish a new government. That is just one of the many things that this war has brought to Iraq. Although the government can be imporoved it is a step in the right direction.

Wait, I am one of those Defense Contractors......I have been in Iraq for 13 months....Contracted through the Department of Defense.....I train, or try to train Iraqi Police.....It is the most challenging task that I have ever come up against. It is like trying to train a 6 year old how to shoot an AK-47 and a Glock...Now on a serious note...There has been many things accomplished in Iraq. For one, there is no longer an Evil Dictator running the show....Uhhhh...I guess that is about it....

As with Viet Nam, we've kept a lot of people working making war hardware!, We've lined the pockets of a lot of hawkish lobbyists, We,ve alienated a whole new area of the world, and last but not least, once again, we've cut down our future population squeeze at the source.

How can this be a civil war when the Kurds are not fighting for the country, Oh crap I didn't get the liberal talking points this week. One dictator dead. His sons dead. His followers dead. Higher ups in Al-Queda dead. Chance for new life of freedom.....priceless.

Lets see, new hopsitals, new schools, new libraries, new infrastructure, a better life than under Saddam, a newly "elected" government by it's people, a new Army being trained, a new police force, more private business have started up, Iraqi people glad that we ARE there and are very much appreciated, and a division at home because it's always been night and day between the two parties! Get off the kool-aide dude!
